Google releases SDK to “wearable technology”


– Ready in two weeks, says Android boss.

Google will release developer tools that allow third parties to develop Android-based apps to the so-called sewn-technology or “wearable technology”, a category of devices that include Google Glass, smart watches, fitness bracelet and so on.

Developer tools, software development kit (SDK) released “in about two weeks.” It said Sundar Pichai, Google’s head of Android, Chrome and Google Apps business during a panel discussion at the South By Southwest conference in Austin, Texas Sunday.

– We will present a vision for developers on how we imagine that this market can fuingere, said Pichai according to Cnet.

Developer tools should not only be aimed at smartur. Google offers OS and application programming interfaces, but leave it to the developers themselves to find out what new form factors and devices they are suitable for.
