Facebook can’t help itself from copying the Snapchat Stories feature. The company has cloned the functionality in Facebook Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp with an uncanny resemblance. And now, after cloning it at every place possible, the company has introduced the feature to the main Facebook app.
The feature is essentially similar to what you have grown accustomed to if you use Instagram or WhatsApp where any media, images or videos disappear after 24 hours. The feature can be accessed from the top of the app. That said, it is not available in all the markets, and was first teased for users in Ireland in January.
This comes a week after the company launched Messenger Day in the Facebook Messenger app. The feature was introduced in WhatsApp last month while it was added to Instagram last year.
