In May, Google announced that it will soon be possible to share their Android purchases with five others (family members), and now is “Familiy Library” here.
This means that one can buy an app once and then getting the entire family access to it free of charge. This is also true for games, movies, books and TV shows that are being acquired through the Play Store.
Everyone in the family can access the owner’s payment information, but they can also add their own. When it comes to younger family members, one can select that these transactions are first approved by one that is empowering. All purchases will be available to everyone on both Android and iOS.
“Familiy Library» rolled initially out to users in Canada, France, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Germany, USA and Austria. It is uncertain when several countries have access.
